This is Parker, 13 months old, my
husband, Theo, and me. On our daily
walks we visit the ducks in our housing
complex, and we’ve been having
picnics in the garden. Theo has also
been teaching Parker colours and
how to play board games.

This is April, three, and Olive, two. The girls are
having a sleepover in the sitting room after a long
day ‘swimming’ (note the swimming costumes on
over their clothes!), eating frozen yoghurt lollies, and
watching Toy Story. We’ve also built a vegetable patch,
planted seeds, baked, walked the dogs, fed the birds,
and made Stickman and his family out of twigs on the
floor of my art studio. No time for boredom here!
