It’s still early in the year, but already 2019 is proving

to be full of surprises. Not least the news that

Bungie, the legendary game developers behind

Halo, have split with Activision. What does this mean

for the future of its awesome Destiny franchise?

Bungie is retaining the IP, so more independent

creative control should only mean good things for

the future of the series, as we find out on page 8!

Looks like fans of The Elder Scrolls Online are in

for a great 2019, meanwhile, as we discover on

page 12. Zenimax Media has revealed that not only

are dragons coming to the MMORPG, but also a

huge new chapter set in the Khajiit homeland of

Elsweyr. Elsewhere (ahem), we report on Microsoft’s

big cheese of gaming, Phil Spencer, joining tech

company AMD on stage at CES, hinting at where

the next generation of Xbox’s processors might

be coming from... see page 14. Finally, we look at

the beleaguered FPS Overkill’s The Walking Dead

which has had a bumpy ride on PC and has been

delayed for Xbox again. We have all the latest news
