Clean up the subject Use the Healing
brush in a RAW editor or Photoshop to
remove dust and blemishes in the subject and
background. Stray particles of pollen are a
common distraction in flower portraits, while
sensor dust is noticeable in blurred areas.
Check Visualise Spots for easy identification.5
Noise reduction Image grain is most
noticeable in areas of sparse detail, so
there is always a risk of distracting noisein
the out-of-focus areas of a shot. Since these
are prominent in macro images, use Selective
Noise Reduction on an Adjustment brushto
smooth grainy textures.e6
