To make itwork visually, I would advise that one main colour should make up70 per cent of the scheme, a secondary shade 20 per cent, finishingoff with an accent highlight of 10 per cent. This is the formula thatensures a design scheme f lows well and doesn’t look over-the-top.’Upcycled furniture used throughout the house gives the interiora stylish, individual feel, mixing different periods and looks. ‘Wepersonalised our vintage furniture by choosing vibrant designerwallpaper to cover door fronts,’ says Gregory. ‘The black-and-whitejungle wallpaper used for the media cabinet in the sitting room, for example, was one of Nick ’s finds.’With the interior and garden space complete, the couple hasdeveloped a taste for renovation. ‘But if we did it again, I think we’dgo for a smaller job,’ ref lects Gregory. ‘That being said, I don’t thinkit will be long before we try our hand again. We’re not propertydevelopers – we simply love transforming interiors.’LESSON LEARNT ‘Preparation and planning is key in the renovation process’FAmIly BAThroomDecorative flooring creates characterwithin this all-white scheme.Marrakech Black Decor floor tiles,£27.91sq m, Tons of Tiles, are similar``````GUesT BeDroomBlue, white and grey create a restful, organic feel in this space. For similar bed linen try CatherineLansfield geo Triangles, from £15, Very.Bumble side table, £63, Habitat
