NECKBAND

With right sides of Back and Front

together, join shoulder seams

using three-needle cast of

method (see Panel)

£ Using 4.5mm dpns, with

RS facing and starting at left

shoulder, pick up and k 14 sts

down left side of Front neck, k

across nine sts from centre front

holder, pick up and k 14 sts up

right side of Front neck, k

from Back neck holder, join in

the rnd. 69 sts

£ Rnd 1: p to end

£ Rnd 2: k to end

£ Rep last two rnds once more

TO MAKE UP

Cut rem yarn into 28cm

lengths. Knot three lengths

through each eyelet along irst

row of patt along lower edges,

trim to 10cm LK

cast off

With the right sides of your

two pieces together, return

the stitches to the needles

and hold them parallel. Insert

a third needle into the ist two

stitches on each needle. Wrap

the yarn around this needle

and knit the two stitches

together, then repeat this

with the next two stitches on

the parallel needles. Pass the

second stitch on the right hand

needle over the irst stitch to

cast it of. Repeat this until all

stitches are cast of.
