BEOPLAY H
£700, bang-olufsen.com
Any new set of closed-back cans from Bang &
Olufsen is worthy of celebration, but the
company looks to be doing a little celebrating
itself with the Beoplay H95. Built to
commemorate 95 years in the audio business,
these flagship headphones trend towards the
higher-end in terms of price and also in their
feature set. Real leather ear pads direct your
ears to 40mm titanium drivers running at 12
Ohms impedance, all EQ’d just the way you like
them and blocking out the outside world.
B&O’s stellar adaptive ANC is here, controlled
at a touch by a super-handy dial encircling one
ear cup. They’re fully foldable, with a luxurious
aluminium case keeping everything safe when
you’re not listening; when you do, you get all
the connection options you could hope for, and
up to 50 hours battery on a single charge.
T3 SAYS: Your ears couldn’t be better dressed.
FITBIT SENSE / VERSA
From £199, fitbit.com
Google’s acquisition of Fitbit is still up in the air,
but Fitbit isn’t letting some pesky bureaucratic
delay stop it from pushing forward. The
company is marching on (and taking aim at
Apple) with a pair of new smartwatches, both
of which has its own specific focus. The Sense
(£299) incorporates a bunch of sensors, as you
might expect, for Fitbit’s smartest health
picture yet: electrodermal sensing is the
headline addition, which allows the Sense to
help you manage your stress and mood as well
as those fitness metrics. If getting a sweat on is
your primary goal, the Versa 3 (£199) continues
Fitbit’s fitness line at a slightly lower price.
There’s built-in GPS to ensure your runs are
fully tracked, a full coaching regime built in,
and a battery which will apparently run for six
days. That’s quite the trek.
T3 SAYS: Fitbit? Fitlot! This looks terrific.
