Tom Ford Beauty Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum

Not all scents are made equal, and some

are so intensely sought-after they sell out

before they even reach the virtual shelves.

Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino is one such

scent. This unisex fragrance has its very

own cult following, thanks in small part to

its army of celebrity fans (including Harry

Styles and Ellie Goulding), but mostly

down to its remarkably distinct smell.

Tunisian neroli, leather, wood, bergamot,

Sicilian lemon and winter yellow mandarin

marry more floral and herbal notes of

lavender, orange flower, rosemary and

amber to create a fragrance that’s all at

once playful, seductive and lasting. Layer

it up for a more intense hit after dark. Tom

Ford describes the Neroli Portofino as a

‘classic eau de cologne that’s rarified with

rich, sublime depth... lavishly heightened

to utmost opulence’. It doesn’t come

cheap though, with 50ml costing £164,

100ml costing £240 and the 250ml

(which comes in a beautifully designed

bottle with stopper-style top, exclusive to

the larger size only) fetching a cool £540.
