Ah, October. The nights are drawing in. The air is getting

increasingly frosty. Suddenly Christmas only feels a

stone’s throw away. Or, at least, that would be the case if

this was any normal year. But this is 2020. Accordingly, at

the time of writing, the UK has spent several weeks being

slow-roasted like a leg of suncream-marinated lamb.

Setting aside the unseasonable warmth / incipient climate

emergency however, it still seems like a good time to start
