The Quest 2’s matt plastic build
and nicely cushioned facial
interface feel premium, and
it’s smaller and lighter than
the original. This is the most
comfortable VR headset we’ve
worn... though you’ll still feel the
strain after half an hour.

Baby sharp

A screen resolution of 1832x1920

means 50% more pixels than the

Quest (and more than the Rift S),

with performance boosted by

a custom Snapdragon chip and

a RAM upgrade from 4GB to 6GB.

The difference is noticeable with

sharper text and crisper images.

Lens dance

The slider for adjusting left/right

lens spacing is gone – now you

have to take the headset off to

switch between three settings.

The new Touch controllers have

the same layout as before but

now with thumb-rests and

slightly wider tracking rings.
