All four of the new iPhones sport Apple’s new A14 processor, a six-core CPU
designed on a 5nm manufacturing process. Engadget has an in-depth interview
with Apple’s chip designers talking about the A14.


“The reduction in transistor size enables us to add features and increase
performance,” said Hope Giles, Apple’s VP of engineering product
management.


The A14 is also in Apple’s new iPad Air. According to Geekbench, the new iPad

Apple’s laptop computers used to have a beloved magnetic-charging system
called MagSafe. Apple is bringing that to the iPhone line with a set of cases and
snap-on chargers once again called MagSafe.
