Ch an odd number of sts.

Row 1 (RS) Fwd: Pull up lp in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across. Rtn:

Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, *yo, pull through 2 lps on hk; rep from *

to end, change color in last st (last 2 lps).

Row 2 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1st st.) *Move yarn to front, insert

hk into vert bar of next st (do not pull up a lp), Tss in next st; rep

from * across. Rtn: Work off lps as normal, change color in last st.

Row 3 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1st st.) *Tss in next st, move yarn

to front, insert hk into vert bar of next st (do not pull up a lp); rep

from * across to last 2 sts, Tss in last 2 sts. Rtn: Work off lps as nor-

mal, change color in last st.

Rep rows 2 and 3 to desired length.
