In this quirky motif, the single crochet around the last round shows
off the zigzag of the chain spaces perfectly.

Picot: Ch 3, sl st to 1st ch.

Ch 8, sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 3 (counts as dc), *dc in ring, picot, 2 dc in ring; rep
from * 6 more times, [dc , picot, dc] in ring, sl st to top of t-ch, do
not turn—24 dc.

Moorish Motif


This bulky cross is encircled with a delicate line of picot chains. It’s a
beautiful motif that makes a delicate fabric when combined together.

Single Crochet Spike (sc spike): Insert hk into st indicated 1 rnd
