Popcorn Line Stitch.

Popcorn all lined up in neat rows makes this pattern great for
geometric and symmetric projects, as in a block in an afghan.

Popcorn (pop): 5 dc in st indicated, remove hk, insert hk into
1st dc (from front to back), place free lp back on hk and pull
through 1st dc.

Ch a multiple of 4 sts plus 2.

Row 1 (RS): [Sc, ch 3, pop] in 2nd ch from hk, *sk 3 ch, [sc,
ch 3, pop] in next ch; rep from * across to last 4 ch, sk 3 ch, sc
in last sc, turn.

Diamante Bobble Stitch

Alternating bobbles create columns of diamonds that are still lacy
enough for garment projects as well.

Row 1 (WS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across, turn.

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in next 2 sc, *ch 1, sk next sc, 3
hdc-cl in next sc, ch 1, sk next sc, hdc in next 5 sc; rep from *
across to last 6 sc, ch 1, sk next sc, 3 hdc-cl in next sc, ch 1, sk
next sc, hdc in last 3 sc, turn.

next sc, hdc in last 3 sc, turn.
