Post stitches in this lace pattern mimic a lattice fabric that

you can use for anything from shawls to sweaters.

Left Decrease (left dec): Yo, insert hk around st from front

to back to front and pull up a lp, yo and pull through 2 lps

on hk, yo, insert hk into next st and pull up a lp, yo and

pull through 2 lps on hk, yo and pull through all lps on hk.

Shell (sh): 5 dc in same sp.

Ch a multiple of 12 sts plus 11.

Row 1 (WS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk, sc in next 9 sc, *ch 4, sk

2 ch, sc in next 10 sc; rep from * across, sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch 5 (counts as tr, ch-1 sp), *sk 3
