You can also use spreadsheet software to make a circle graph to represent data.
A stadium seats 48,000 people. There are 8000 box seats; 8000 loge seats;
12,000 seats in the mezzanine; 16,000 seats in the upper deck; and 4000 seats
in the bleachers. Use a spreadsheet program to represent this data in a
circle graph.
Step 1 Enter the data in the first two columns of the
spreadsheet, as shown below.
Step 2 Highlight the data, including the column heads.
Step 3 From the Insertmenu, select Chart, or use the
Chart Wizardicon on the toolbar. This will take
you through a series of steps that enables you
to create the graph. Here, select Pieto display
the data in a circle graph, and input the graph
title. Click Finishwhen done.
When you change the data in the spreadsheet, the graph
is automatically updated.
