XV. Fractions Greater Than or Equal to 1
A fraction that is greater than or equal to 1 has its numerator greater
than or equal to the denominator. This type of number is sometimes
called an.
You can express an improper fraction as a whole number or a mixed number.

- Multiply the denominator by the whole number.
- Add the product to the numerator.
- Write the sum as the numerator and the given
denominator as the denominator.
