Fractions On a Number Line

Write the fraction that completes each number line.

A number line can help to show and order

whole numbers.

• On a number line the lesserof two numbers
  is to the leftof the greater number.


• The greaterof two numbers is to the rightof
  the lesser number.

14 is to the leftof 17. 19 is to the rightof 17.
