I suspect that private rhino owners seeking to unlock
the benefits of legal trade are most likely to bring
about a change in policy by successfully addressing
questions such as these. In a similar vein, wildlife industry
participants in general might gain by reaching out to
other interest groups concerned with wildness and
welfare, such as wildlife NGOs and consumers, to better
understand their needs and concerns, and then address
them by setting and maintaining appropriate product
