She then displayed the results in a
double bar graph.
A double bar graph compares two
related sets of data. Each set of data is
graphed separately, but on the same
grid. The key explains which set of data
is shown by each bar graph.
To make a double bar graph:
Draw horizontal and vertical
axes on grid paper.
Choose an appropriate scale for
both sets of data.
Label both axes. On the vertical
axis, mark equal intervals
beginning with 0. On the horizontal
axis, write the categories.
Choose your colors and make a
key to show what each color
represents.
Draw a bar for each value of data.
Write a title for the graph.
