    possibilities for Edna’s favorite number?

  4. The Math Club newsletter is twice as long as the
    French Club newsletter, which is one third as long
    as the Science Club newsletter. The Science Club newsletter
    is 6 pages long. How long is the Math Club newsletter?

  5. The width of a rectangle is wand its length is 4 more
    than twice its width, or 2w4. Ann writes the perimeter
    as (w 2 w4) (w 2 w4). Is Ann correct?
    Give three different values for w, 2w4, and the perimeter.


15.Andrew plotted point Kon a coordinate grid at
(3, 1). From point K, he went right 8 units to plot point L.
From point L, he went up 2 units and left 2 units to
plot point M. From point M, he went left 4 units to plot
point N. He then connected the points to form a figure.
What are the coordinates of each point? What figure
did Andrew form? What is the area of the figure?
