Corporate Governance
The Department of Civil Aviation Cyprus (DCA) is a department of the Ministry of Transport,
Communications and Works. The Cyprus Air Navigation Services (CyANS) is a section of the
DCA) and is responsible for the provision of Air Navigation Services within the airspace of the
responsibility of the Republic of Cyprus.
CYANS is responsible for the provision of:
- Air Traffic Service (ATS) at the two airports and the Area Control Centre
- Aeronautical Information Service (AIS)
- Communication Navigation and Surveillance service (supported by CYTA).
The main National Stakeholders involved in ATM in Cyprus are detailed in the following
subchapters and their relationships are shown in the diagram below.
