ANALYSIS of THE SAMPLE RESUME
The sample includes all the characteristics suggested in the process. Note particu-
larly these matters:
- The overall format is neat, clean, and crisp.
- The resume is limited to a single page.
- The spacing helps group the subject matter.
- The labels are clear.
- The content is clearly aimed at the position sought and extraneous material is
omitted. For instance, there is no mention of athletic activities in high school
or work backstage for dramatic productions at Community College. - Honors and specific duties are included in the appropriate areas.
- References are related to the computer business or to the applicant’s abilities.
Studying the process, sample, and analysis should help you develop a strong resume.
