Points to Consider



  • Some of the adaptations that insects have evolved for a terrestrial existence are also
    displayed in amphibians and reptiles. What could be some of these? How are they
    similar and different?

  • Insects have some very specialized sensory capabilities. How do you think these com-
    pare to those found in fish, amphibians, and reptiles?
