“There’s a lot to like about Keith’s
modern architecture image, and
he's taken a similar approach to how
I'd shoot it. For one, I'd have reached
for my camera straight away too – metallic
sweeping curves always photograph well.
The long exposure clears clutter from the sky
and creates contrast, although I'd have maybe
given the building slightly more breathing
space as it's currently quite a close crop –
the green at the bottom of the frame is a little
distracting. The black & white conversion is
nicely handled too, and certainly suits the
subject – I do wonder what it looked like in
colour however, as in the right light this
building can take on gold tones that would
complement a blue sky really well. The one
area I'd have taken a few more risks with is
composition – Keith could have pushed things
a bit further with an abstract angle, or a closer
