Some    irregular verbs have    a   past    participle  that    does not change at  all.

irregular past example
verb participle

cut cut I’ve cut my finger and it’s bleeding badly.

hit hit The children next door have hit their ball into the
busy street.

cost cost This vacation has cost us hundreds of dollars already.

read read Dad hasn’t read my school report yet.

hurt hurt Can Anna sit down? She’s hurt her leg.

put put Have you put any sugar in my tea?
