yě bù néng mǎngzú tā de yuànwàng. Nobody can satisfy his desire.
yuànyì 愿意 [comp: 愿 wish + 意 desire] I MODAL V be willing, will ■ 我愿意帮助你。Wǒ yuànyì
bāngzhù nǐ. I’m willing to help you. ■ 你愿意去 就去，不愿意去就别去。Nǐ yuànyì qù jiù qù,
bú yuànyì qù jiù bié qù. If you’re willing to go, you can go; if you’re not willing to go, you don’t
have to go. II V wish, want ■ 父母都愿意自己的孩子幸 福。Fùmǔ dōu yuànyì zìjǐ de háizi xìngfú.
All parents want their children to be happy.

得这么漂亮，看来有约会。Tā jīntiān dǎbàn de zhème piàoliang, kànlai yǒu yuēhuì. She dressed
up beautifully today, she probably has a date.
