Points to Consider
Many chemical reactions do not proceed entirely to completion. In other words, after some of the products are
formed in the reaction, they can recombine to form the reactants again. Such reactions are said to be reversible.
- How can a reversible reaction be shown in a chemical equation?
- What is the relationship between the rate of the forward reaction and the rate of the reverse reaction?
