wavelength (λ)
The distance between any two corresponding points on adjacent waves.
waxes
Esters of long-chain fatty acids and long-chain alcohols.
weak acid
An acid that ionizes only slightly in aqueous solution.
weak base
A base that ionizes only slightly in aqueous solution.
weak electrolyte
A solution in which only a small fraction of the dissolved solute exists as ions.

Measure of force that is equal to the gravitational pull on an object.
