observation
Any information that is gathered with the senses.
Ohm’s law
Law stating that current increases as voltage increases or resistance decreases.
opaque
Referring to matter that does not allow visible light to pass through it because it reflects or absorbs all of the
light.
optics
Study of visible light and the ways it can be used to extend human vision and do other tasks.
orbit
Path of one object around another, such as the path of the moon around Earth or of Earth around the sun.
orbital
Region of an energy level in the electron cloud around an atom where electrons are most likely to be.
