Thesearchwaysareinvariousstagesofcollapse,asare
thetunnelsbeyondthem.Beautifullycarved,larger-
than-lifestonefacesaremountedbetweenthearches.
Awildprofusionofplantsgrowsontheupperterraces,
andmulticoloredparrotsandcanariesflitandsing
amongthem.Tothenorth,adilapidatedbrickdome
risesabovethetyrannosaurus-headwaterspout.
Smaller,bell-shapeddomessurmountthehighest
terracestoyourleftandright.
Fourcrocodilesliveinthefloodedmarshsouthofthe
garden.Theyignorecharactersinboats,attackanyoneinthe
water,andwon’tclimbupthestairs.
Thewaterflowingdownthemainconcourseisonly 1 foot
deep,andthecurrentisn’tparticularlystrong.Originally,the
sixsidebranchesoffthemainavenuewereroofedover,but
twooftheroofshavecavedin,andthreeothersarepartially
collapsed.Debrischokesthewalkwayswherethetunnelroofs
fell.Theroofsthatremainintacthavevinesandrootshanging
downfromthem.Thecoveredtunnelsareonly 4 feethighand
containafootofwater.

Untamedovergrowthcan’thidethefactthatthisgarden
isahavenforexoticplantsthatdon’tgrownaturallyin
thesurroundingjungle.Unfamiliarflowers,towering
ferns,andevenstrangerplantsresemblinggiantpine
conesorlilypadsspreadandtangleeverywhere.Bright
canariesflitbetweenthem,andparrotswithstriped
beakssquawkatyou.
Theseterracesoverlookingthemainconcoursearehome
tomyriadcreatures,manyofthemdangerous.
Amantrap(seeappendixD)growsontheeasternterrace
betweentwoofthepartiallycollapsedtunnels.Whenitsenses
movementwithin 30 feetofit,themantrapreleasesits
attractivepollen.
Characterswhoexplorethewesternterraceencountersix
yellowmuskzombies(seeappendixD)lurkingamongthe
treesandplants.Thezombiesblendinwiththeir
surroundings,andanycharacterwithapassiveWisdom
(Perception)scorelowerthan 12 isautomaticallysurprisedby
them.Coiledaroundthenorthernmosttreeonthewestern
terraceisayellowmuskcreeper(seeappendixD)thatuses
itsmuskwhenoneormorecharacterscomewithin 30 feetof
it.
Atthenorthendofthegarden,twoarcheddoorwaysopen
intothesouthwestandsoutheastflowergardens(area 5 ).
Stepsstillclimbuptothedoorwayontheeast,butthewestern
stepscollapsedandfellintothewalkwaybelow.Acharacter
