(Marvins-Underground-K-12) #1

Example: If the absolute temperature of 2 L of gas at constant pressure is changed from 283.15 K
to 566.30 K, what would be the final volume?
Solution:

AVOGADRO’S LAW

For all gases at a constant temperature and pressure, the volume of the gas will be directly
proportional to the number of moles of gas present; therefore, all gases at the same temperature
and pressure have the same number of moles in the same volume.

The subscripts 1 and 2 once again apply to two different sets of conditions with the same
temperature and pressure.
