Time to go bargain-hunting with

special offers from the big two

ew season, new camera gear? This seems

to be the message emanating loud and

clear from the Canon and Nikon stables,

as both market-leading manufacturers revealed

a tasty range of cashback discounts for spring.

Canon got there first, announcing money off

cameras, lenses and printers. Standout deals

include £300 off across the whole of the EOS 5D

line (5D Mark IV, 5DS and 5DS R), and £250 off

Canon’s full-frame mirrorless EOS R. There are

discounts of up to £250 on a variety of lenses, as

well as £100 off printers. Canon’s Spring Cashback

promotion runs until 14 June, so don’t delay!

Not to be outdone, Nikon revealed its own package

of point-of-sale discounts (ie non-cashback), which

are available until 15 August. Buyers can get £360

off a Nikon Z 7 kit (Z 7 body plus 24-70mm f/4 S

lens), £270 off a Z 6 kit (Z 6 plus 24-70mm f/4 S),

and £180 off a Nikon D850. Sixteen Nikkor lenses

are also available in this promotion.
