Colours and materials
Most camera bags are black, but
the Billingham Hadley One comes
in a range of colour schemes.
This one is Khaki FibreNyte
with Chocolate Leather.
External pockets
These press-stud external pockets look
basic, but they are surprisingly secure,
and expand to accommodate much
more than you might expect.
Laptop compartment
A must-have for many photographers. If you take
out the camera insert, the Hadley One makes
a great general-purpose office/commuting/
travel bag when you’re not taking pictures.
Leather straps
Billingham sticks to leather straps
for keeping the lid closed. They
take a little getting used to, but
they look nice and they don’t make
that horrid Velcro ‘ripping’ sound.
Carry handle
Very useful for when you’re lifting
the bag out of a luggage rack, a car
or just for commuting – the shoulder
strap can be removed completely.
Camera inserts
The standard camera insert doesn’t fit the full width of the bag,
leaving space for water, food, and other non-photographic
items – or you can add another camera insert.
