Close Quarters
I live in an apartment complex in the city. It’s about
two blocks from my school. My building has six floors.
and from my bedroom window at the top I can see the
little city park in the next block. The greatest thing
about living here is that my best friend lives in my
building, too. I don’t care if it’s raining or snowing, all
I have to do is walk down a flight of stairs to see her. I
meet her every morning, and we walk to school
together and then back home.
I don’t think I would like living out in the country or
even in the suburbs. It would be lonely!
