The Beach

Have you ever been to the beach? It is fun to play in the sand and then wash
off in the water. Tiny fish might tickle your feet when you walk into the ocean.
Birds called pelicans fly in circles above the water. When they see a fish move,
they dive to catch it. Crabs hurry along the shoreline. You may find seashells in
the sand. If you go to a harbor, you will see ships as well as seagulls. The gulls
like to eat food that people have thrown away. They are nature’s garbage
collectors!
