    Current news of national and international operatic life, with calendars and
    notices, is given in Opera Canada,1960–, a quarterly issued by the Canadian
    Opera Association.

Opera is covered adequately in two general histories: Eugenio Pereira Salas, Historia
de la música en Chile, 1850–1900(Santiago: Editorial del Pacífico, 1957; IOM1051),
and Samuel Claro Valdés, Historia de la música en Chile(Santiago: Orbe, 1973; IOM
1052). One book is entirely about light opera:
