  1. (D) A test that measures potential is an aptitude test. A power test is comprised of items in
    increasing level of difficulty and is intended to ascertain the highest level at which one can
    perform, whereas a speed test contains many easy items and is meant to discern how fast one can
    solve the problems. Achievement tests measure what someone has learned. Individual tests, as
    opposed to group tests, are given to one person at a time.
