    we think and perceive them, but there is little evidence for other ways language influences thoughts.
    Whorf’s hypothesis states that language restricts thought, but our cognition is not strictly limited by
    our vocabulary (choices A and D). The linguistic relativity hypothesis has nothing to do with
    language acquisition.
