Sew
1 Note: Refer to Diagram I for follow-
ing steps, watching color placement
carefully. Join assorted solid A’s to
white B’s as shown. Make 30 A/B
strips total.
In similar manner, join assorted
solid C’s to white B’s as shown.
Make 30 C/B strips total.
Starting with darkest color, join A/B
strip to left side of white D as shown.
Join matching C/B strip to right side
of D as shown. Join white E and F as
shown. Repeat, joining all strips in a
dark to light sequence.
2 Referring to Diagram II, join white G
to left side of quilt with an offset of
2 ¾ ̋ as shown. Join white G to right
side of quilt as shown.
3 Referring to Trimming Diagram, trim
quilt as shown.
4 Layer, baste, and quilt. Steph machine
quilted in the ditch around the angled
patches and quilted vertical lines on
the ends of the runner. Bind the quilt.
