- Say the words fairy godmother with me three times.
- A fairy godmother is an imaginary, or make-believe, woman with
magical powers. - With a touch of her wand, the fairy godmother changed Cinderella’s
dirty and soiled clothes into a beautiful dress. - Fairy godmothers have magical powers. If you had a fairy godmother,
what would you like her to do for you?

Purpose for Listening
Tell students they are going to hear a fairy tale called “Cinderella.” Tell
