Place a DIP so that each pin connects to its own 5-position group. When properly placed, it just so
happens that the middle of the part crosses over the gap. This makes it easy to insert a tool to pop out
the part.
The part is in the wrong orientation if several DIP pins are left hanging in the gap (see Figure 12-8).
Obviously, this makes it difficult to connect wires to the pins. Even worse, when placed in the wrong orientation,
several DIP pins are connected to the same 5-position group.
