Whenever possible, purchase fluorescent lights (see Figure 3-10) or LED bulbs. Not only are they energy
efficient, but they run cooler. (Hmm, are those two factors related?) A nice desk-mounted adjustable table
lamp is a must.
Staying Rested and Level-Headed
Fatigue and frustration can cost you and your robot. Plan ahead to finish your robot well before a
competition. Those “all nighters” should be a source of shame, not of pride, little grasshopper.
Relax, take breaks, and enjoy your hobby.
