Do Not Proceed Without a Meter

It is imperative to obtain a digital multimeter before proceeding too much further into this book. Although it
is possible to simply read about the experiments, you will receive a more effective education with first-hand
experience. Nearly every electronic component described in later chapters is accompanied by a procedure
for testing the part on your multimeter.
