- In the read-aloud you heard the word park in this sentence:
“People like to spend time playing and relaxing in this park.” - With your partner, think of different meanings of or ways you
can use the word park as you can. - [Show Poster 1M (Park).] In the read-aloud, a park is a place
in or near a city that has trees, grass, and fl owers for people
to enjoy. Which picture shows this meaning of park? - Park also means to leave a car in a particular place, such as a
