Fairy Tales and Tall Tales: Supplemental Guide 7A | John Henry 161
Use a Making Choices activity for follow-up. Directions: [You may wish
to preview the activities and choose a few for students to try out.] I am
going to read some examples. For each example, first, we will take a
moment to try it. Then, decide if you found the example to be a challenge
or not. If you found it to be a challenge, say, “That was a challenge.” If
you did not find it to be a challenge, say, “That was not a challenge.”
Keep in mind that we won’t all think the same things are a challenge, so
your answer might be different from your neighbor’s.
