- In the read-aloud you heard, “George Washington came up with a
clever idea.” - Say the word clever with me three times.
- Clever means smart.
- In the story, “The Three Little Pigs,” the third pig was clever to build
his home out of brick. - Tell your partner about a character from a story that is clever. Tell
your partner who the character is and what the character did that was
clever. Try to use complete sentences and use the word clever when
you tell about the character.
