 With prompting and support, retell “The Three Little Pigs,” including
characters and beginning, middle, and end of the story in the proper
sequence (RL.K.2)
 With prompting and support, identify characters, settings, and major
events in “The Three Little Pigs” (RL.K.3)
 With prompting and support, compare and contrast the ending to
“Chicken Little” with the ending to “The Three Little Pigs” (RL.K.9)
 With assistance, organize events of “The Three Little Pigs” in the
proper sequence (W.K.8)
 Identify real-life connections between words—inside and outside—
and their use (L.K.5c)
 Learn the meaning of common sayings and phrases, such as “better
