access to Wi -Fi. NoWi-Fi in the house,
the car, when out and about or when
they have a problem with their ISP.
The solution is simple:
a Three mobile plan with
unlimited data and
unlimitedtethering.
With Three, you don’t
needto look aroundfor
Wi-Fi, you just useyour
phone as arouter.
I really don’t understand why people
let their mobile operator getaway
with giving them such a low data and
tethering allowance. Just make the
switch.

Checkvist is the best
to-do list
In responseto your round-up
of to-do list software in Issue
475: when Google “broke” its
todo listtool, I looked
around and tried all the
alternatives Icould find. So I’m slightly
surprised thatyou missed – or didn’t
mention – Checkvist (checkvist.com).
I’ve been usingto-do list appsfor quit e
a while now and this is without a doubt
the best I have ever come across. The
mobileversion isn’t quite as powerful but
is certainly good enough. I suggestyou
take a look because it’s a great app.

I
t happens on aregular basis,every

an operating

Stop scaring people into upgrading Windows
are still constantreports of bugs, and
security risks are publishedregularly
from many sources. I have
been an electronicstech for
40 years and I’ve heard all
the hype about whyyou
needto buy the latest
version of an item ora
new must-have piece of
kit. This constantfear
pumped into people,
to make them so panicked that they
go and upgrade based on acompany’s
marketing, is simply designedto scare
everyone.
WhenWindows 10 is secure and
works well, then people should decide
if theywant to upgrade or not, buta
constant push from Microsoft and the
media is not something many people
can afford or need. It needsto stop.
It costs a fortuneto keep upgrading,
and it is not necessary inmy humble
and professional opinion – itreally
isn’t.
