KIWI
PR EP
Here’s an easy way
to peel a kiwi: slice
off the top and
bottom. Then, slit
the skin from the
top to the bottom.
Take a teaspoon,
then slide it into
the cut and work
around the kiwi
with the spoon,
removing the skin
as you go.

FOOD FACT OR
FOOD MYTH?
Adding oil to butter will stop it
burning in the pan when frying.
FALSE When you melt butter,
it separates into fat and milk
solids. The milk solids have a
lower smoke point (burning
temperature) than the fat and
will burn if they get too hot.
Adding oil simply dilutes the
butter so there are fewer milk
solids in the pan to burn. But
they still burn.
