Quarter Window Facts...
’41-48 Quarter Window Dimensions
Coupe vs Fordor
There is a difference! Don’t let appearances fool
you. The Fordor quarter window assembly may
look the same as the Coupe, but in fact, the Coupe
measures 1/2" taller.
’41-48 Rubber Seal
Early vs Late Years
The 1941-1946 (early) metal frame surrounds the
window glass completely. In late 1946, Ford modified the
metal frame to only partially surround the window glass.
For this reason, a different rubber seal is required.
Many standard Coupes and Fordors have fixed quarter windows using this “U”
shaped seal. Also use this seal to convert pivot-style quarter windows to fixed. Ends
not bonded, you cut-to-length. Comes in 12' long straight length.
